Your Nokia messaging account has been deactivated

Have you received an email like this? My inbox on nokia mail can no
longer be checked. Anyone know the solution?

Dear Nokia Messaging customer,

The Nokia Messaging account you have been enjoying came as part of the
purchase of your Nokia phone. According to our records, that phone has
been transferred to another person.

Your Nokia Messaging account has been deactivated. Your account is
safe - it cannot be accessed by the new owner of your Nokia phone. In
addition, you can sign up for a new Nokia Messaging account for use on
another Nokia phone. Please visit the Nokia Messaging website
(http://email.nokia.com/account) to see a list of Nokia phones that
run with Nokia Messaging.

We look forward to serving you again.

Sincerely,
Nokia Messaging team

Hey i had also recieved this kind of email from them, this problem arises due to Nokia Messaging configured on multiple phones. Well in my case those were trial phones and i did not have any of them with me. Just call up Nokia Support and tell them about thus problem, they will take your imei no. And the email id registered with Nokia Messaging and reswt your account online and they will mostl probably ask you to format your phone and then re-configure Nokia Messaging

  4. I removed the mailboxes then reinstalled the mailboxes. Seems to work again so maybe that is the solution to the problem.

  5. I also encountered this issue when I've upgraded from E71 to E72. I just wrote an e-mail to nokia support describing the situation and they've reactivated my account.
